Nasan Energies and Millennium Julinho FC announced a partnership today at the Nasan Tal Valley Service Station in Windhoek. The event brought together government officials, club players, leadership, representatives of the football, business communities and members of the media.
The guest of honour was Hon. Dino Ballotti, Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture. In his address, he welcomed the partnership and called for more collaboration between businesses and sporting organisations to support players and the development of sport in Namibia.
For Nasan Energies, this partnership reflects our commitment to youth and sport as part of our corporate social responsibility work. Our Managing Director, Mr Jean-Blaise Ollomo, said that as our network of 42 service stations grows, we want to create meaningful value in the communities we serve. He spoke about football’s ability to bring people together, develop talent and teach discipline and teamwork.
Millennium Julinho FC Chairman Miguel Hamutenya reflected on the club’s journey and its ambitions for the future. He said the club’s roots would remain an important part of its identity as it builds a stronger organisation and creates more opportunities for players.
The club outlined its vision for development pathways across its men’s, women’s and futsal teams, alongside planned boys’ and girls’ academies. Our partnership is intended to support that wider vision and help strengthen the structures around the club’s players and teams.
Following the official announcement, representatives of both organisations and club players took part in a partnership reveal and symbolic activation. The occasion marked the beginning of a shared effort to support the club’s growth and create more opportunities through football.
Powering Namibia's journeys, communities and future.
