Windhoek, 24 September 2026 –
Nasan Energies met with the Honourable Veikko Nekundi, Minister of Works and Transport, and his team as part of our ongoing engagement with key authorities and stakeholders.
The engagement provided an opportunity for us to introduce Nasan Energies, share our journey and provide an overview of our growing presence within Namibia’s downstream petroleum sector.
Discussions touched on Nasan’s expansion plans, fleet and fuel management, road safety, infrastructure development, local economic participation and community-focused initiatives. We also shared our commitment to supporting broader efforts aimed at improving road safety and responsible transport practices.
Hon. Nekundi thanked us for taking the time to engage with the Ministry and expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to meet the Namibians behind Nasan Energies. He welcomed the possibility of future strategic partnerships as our relationship with the Ministry continues to develop.
The Minister also reflected on the importance of Namibians playing an active role in building the country’s future and encouraged us to continue growing a business that contributes to Namibia and its people. He expressed his interest in seeing what lies ahead for Nasan Energies as we continue to grow.
For us, the engagement forms part of our continued commitment to building constructive relationships with key authorities and stakeholders, sharing our progress and understanding how our growth can contribute meaningfully to Namibia’s development.
